NHL playoffs 2019 Does Barry Trotz want
The Islanders and coach Barry Trotz are lying in wait for the winner of the Capitals and Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
And while Trotz led Washington to the Stanley Cup last year, he won’t hold anything Ramik Wilson Jersey back if he faces them in the playoffs this year.
“Do I want to beat them? Absolutely, 100 percent, because I want to have the same experience and win the Stanley Cup with this group,” Trotz told the New York Post on Thursday.
Trotz was not retained by the Capitals after leading the team to their first championship in franchise history.
He ultimately signed to lead the Islanders and led them to a first round sweep of the Penguins this year.
Back in November he almost prophetically called the series but wasn’t going to concede a Capitals win.
